Happy Hallowe’en! The weather has gotten soggy and sad, as has my mood, uuugh. October has been missing my usual spooky happiness feels, I usually get planning my Hallowe’en costume on the first of November the year before! I had hopes of being Miss Argentina from Beetlejuice this year but unfortunately I’ve not had the time, it’s been pretty soul destroying to not be enjoying Hallowe’en to it’s fullest. Although it hasn’t been my best October to date, these are the things that have brought me joy!
Ashleigh took me for my first ever trip to a pumpkin patch! It rained the whole ten minutes we could withstand the cold but that doesn’t take away from the fact that I finally went to a pumpkin patch!!
I dressed up as Poison Ivy this year, the ‘lazy-gal-on-a-budget’ version anyway! I went to a kid’s party and had the most fun, came home, painted a pumpkin and watched Beetlejuice. Am I 6 or 60?!
It’s been a while since I’ve tried any new makeup products but this Revolution felt tip liner will most certainly becoming a permanent member of Meg’s Makeup Bag! Even the Urban Decay and Kat Von D felt tip liners haven’t been as impressive as this shiny pretty angel.
I have worn these black cropped corduroy flares from Primark almost every damn day this month, even to work on the slightly warmer days! I thought the 90’s had come back to embarrass us all over again when flares came back into fashion but I’m soooo into it.
Hull fair season is my most favourite time of year and I finally managed to have a little bit of a shoot whilst it was on, the rest of the photos went up last week in my ‘There’s a Honey’ post! I also filmed a few little bits to look back on as watching my vlog from 2017’s fair is one of my favourites.
My oh my have I missed having claws! I’ve not been able to wear false nails at work due to the amount of equipment I’m assembling and then disassembling every day, but my week off during half term has allowed me to go full spook and wear these Hallowe’en falsies from Primark! £2.50, you can’t go wrong can ya?!
I haven’t made a purchase from Shop Dixi for the longest time but as soon as I saw the new Dixi X Harmony Nice collection I just had to pick up at least one thing! I think I did pretty well to only choose one as well, the collection is incredible! I’m obsessed with my initial necklace and I’ve been wearing it every day since it arrived.
I made a video testing this Primark Alice in Wonderland palette and unsurprisingly fell in love with it! The glitters/shimmers aren’t the best formula but the mattes are stunning and the colour story is so up my street. I do wish they’d named the shades though, massive missed opportunity there!
I am now in the most ridiculously Christmassy mood ever and cannot wait for the festivities to begin! Countdown to Christmas is go!!!!!! Let’s not will November away, fingers crossed it’ll be a good ‘un.
