I just so happened to have graduated this month! I have written a dedicated post going into a lot more detail about the day, my outfit, my whole four years at university, so pop along and read that!
Panic! at the Disco’s new album ‘Pray for the Wicked’ has been my July soundtrack, especially ‘Hey Look Ma, I Made It’, ‘High Hopes’, and ‘Roaring 20s’. As much as I miss their witty wordy titles from past albums, I actually remember which title belongs to which song on Pray for the Wicked! This album could easily be made into a musical in my eyes, and I’d sell my soul for a ticket.
In my whole adult life, I’ve never worn a watch. Granted I am only 23, but still, it’s quite a grown up thing to own isn’t it! A time piece, if you’re fancy. Choosing a watch to wear for possibly the rest of your life is a pretty big deal, I did maybe take it a little too seriously but I genuinely can see myself wearing this FOREVER!
Camping with Rosie at Bayness Farm in Robin Hood’s Bay for a couple of days was exactly what I needed to let go of that graduate pressure stress. We had two nights and three days away, it was a lot of driving for me but beyond worthwhile.
I binged Good Girls on Netflix, thoroughly absorbed myself into the Breaking Bad meets Desperate Housewives crime drama. Action, comedy, drama, the perfect female lead series I’ve been waiting for!
The characters are SO WELL WRITTEN, I think that’s why I connected with them so much. Beth, Ruby and Annie all have personality traits from I see reflected in myself, they’re personable, real and definitely not written by men. Season two better be coming soon!
Hull Pride is one of my favourite days of the year, celebrating love and happiness with loved ones who make me happy. You can watch my vlog here!
The Body Shop’s Drops of Light liquid peel exfoliator has been my summer skin saviour. Being a sweaty bitch is breaking me out like something rotten and thanks to this beauty I have some kind of summery glow!
I have also finally set up a separate Instagram account specifically for my photography! I have noooo idea why it took me so long, but it’s here, giz a follow!
July has been a beautiful blur, now onto real life of horrendous job hunting. I’ll be full of rejection, squashed and disappointed as all brand new adults are for a while, wish me luck!
