March Favourites 2018

Hands down my favourite thing about the month of March was hanging out with my gal Charley for the day! She came to visit me in Sunderland on the 22nd and we had so much fun walking to the seaside, taking photos and chatting shit all day.

You can watch the video we filmed together here!

I still can’t believe how incredible this caricature of me that Claire from Aloha Lola Cards drew of me is! It was such an incredible surprise and I’m beyond flattered.

Mothers Day was on the 11th and my mumma came up to Sunderland to visit for the day, we went to see The Greatest Showman again and had chips by the sea. She really is my hero, the start of March had me in a really bad way but she came to my rescue and brought my smile back.

I’m so pleased I gave Santa Clarita Diet another go, I started watching the first season a while ago and just couldn’t get into but my my my, I wasted so much time! The episodes are half an hour long (score) and there are two seasons on Netflix, fingers crossed for many many more please!!!

I’m kinda in love with Timothy Olyphant (Joel), Drew Barrymore (Sheila) is and always has been, the one, Liv Hewson (Abby) and Skyler Gisondo (Eric) are living the high school life I’d have adored. Also Joel’s tango in episode six of season two is something everyone needs to see. Sheila & Joel 4eva, #MarriageGoals.

This card from my wholesome lil mushroom, Carys, appeared on my doormat and gave me all of the strength I needed to get through the last week or so before coming home for Easter. Having supportive and caring friends is one of the most important things in the universe and I couldn’t be more thankful for the support network I have.

Emma Blackery released Dirt on the 16th and the only words I can use to describe this song are, A BOP! It’s a fuckin’ bop. It’s my go-to song for everything, driving, cooking, showering… It’s certainly my song of the season, Dirt 4 Spring.

Gemma’s birthday party on the 3rd was so much fun, Demi and myself were twinning and Matty and I had a fantastic singalong to Frank Carter and The Rattlesnakes, I vlogged the whole thing in weekend vlog nine.

I’m so happy to be back in Hull for a few weeks for Easter, regroup and rest a little before getting balls deep into planning my exhibition!
