Tomorrow I will be making my way back to my beautiful attic floor flat (currently not beautiful as our entire kitchen is getting replaced) in Sunderland to reunite with my flatmate Sam, I’ve missed him and my dressing gown a tonne and I can’t wait to get stuck back in with uni work.
This has been the longest summer of my life so I thought I’d do a life update from the past couple of months being back in Hull, what I’ve been up to, how I’m feeling and my plans for the rest of this year.
I came back to Hull at the very end of may May to attend Radio 1’s Big Weekend & Slam Dunk festival, to vote and to photograph a wedding, my intentions were to return to Sunderland in July then go back to Hull for August and return again to Sunderland to start my third year of uni in September.
Alas, I ended up staying in Hull for over three months, almost four in fact with occasional trips back to Sunderland in between.
Here are my highlights of each month!
20th – Photographed Charlotte & Lee’s wedding
27th – Radio 1’s Big Weekend
29th – Slam Dunk Festival
6th – Donated nine inches of my hair to The Little Princess Trust
8th – Voted in the UK general election (for the many, obv)
11th – BBQ with friends
13th – Hung out with Cancer Bats in a take away after work
18th – Paramore at O2 Apollo in Manchester
9th – Rocky Horror Picture Show at Fruit
22nd – UK Pride 2017 in Hull
29th – Photographed Katie & Dom’s wedding
5th – Humber Street Sesh
13th – Day out in York
2nd – Freedom Festival
8th – 11th – Center Parcs
15th – First bloggers event: launch night of Atik nightclub in Hull
I do life updates in my monthly favourites post but they are extremely long and I never expect anyone to read them really so this was a nice roundup post for my 2017 summer!
