What’s In My Make Up Bag?

I try my best to stick to cruelty free cosmetics, I think everything I currently have in my make up bag is… There are always rumours and ingredient changes so I’m never 100% sure.

It has taken me about two years to transition into having mostly cruelty free make up, I used to use Revlon and Benefit as it was amazing for my troublesome and pale skin and the ‘They’re Real’ mascara was the best one I’ve ever used but I love the bunnies too much to keep funding that industry.

Currently in my make up bag;

primer

Primed & Ready mattifying pore minimiser from Collection.

I recently fancied a change from my usual Barry M primer so picked this Collection one up from Superdrug for £4.99. I could definitely feel the presence of Witch, I use their face cleanser because I just loooooove tea tree!

Colour Correcting Wands from Barry M, purple to brighten and green to counteract redness.

I had seen on a beauty YouTubers video that they’d been sent some colour correcting concealers and after seeing how pigmented the swatch was I just neeeeeeded some to add to my make up bag. So I picked these up from Superdrug for £4.49 each, unfortunately they didn’t have the yellow one in stock so I’m keeping my peepers out as that one gets rid of the eye bags!

foundation

Vichy DermaBlend 16 hour wear foundation in ’05 Porcelain’.

I’ve been using Vichy for just over a year and it seems to be the only thing that covers my horror show skin but at £20 per 30ml bottle I’m still on the look out to find my ‘the one’.

Anastasia Beverley Hills Brow Pomade in ‘Ebony’.

I bought this exact pot of brow pomade well over a year ago from Beauty Bay or Cult Beauty or something similar for £15 and I kid you not, it’s not even half empty yet!

Focus & Fix Concealer from Revolution in ’02 Fair’.

TWO POUNDS! £2 for a pretty damn good concealer!

Venus and Venus II pallettes from Lime Crime.

I bought these pallettes a million years ago and I still get excited to wear them, I’m always finding new colour combinations and they’re actually the only eyeshadow pallettes I own! £54.30 I think is how much I paid for the bundle of both pallettes from the Lime Crime website, it sounds like a ridiculous amount of money but they’re the best quality eyeshadows I have ever used, insane pigment, no fall out, huge mirrors and beautiful packaging. I’ll definitely be replacing them if I ever run out!

eyeliner

Urban Decay Razor Sharp long wear liquid eyeliner.

Hands down best eyeliner I’ve ever had the pleasure of wiping on my eyelids. At £17 for 2.3ml which tends to last me three to four months before going dry/flakey, I’m beyond chuffed!

Perversion mascara from Urban Decay.

Urban Decay seems to not be capable of doing wrong! The only downside is that the wand is a little too big to do my lower lashes without smudging a bit of product onto my face.

bronzer

Bronzed Perfection Matte bronzer from MUA.

I never in my life wore bronzer before this beauty caught my eye and MUA is just so damn affordable of course I bought one when they’re only £4 for such a huge product!

highlight

Undress Your Skin shimmer highlighter from MUA in ‘Radiant Cashmere’.

SO SPARKLY. SO PRETTY. SO PIGMENTED. THREE POUNDS!

setting spray

NYX Dewy Finish setting spray.

I hadn’t used setting spray before buying this saviour from Cult Beauty or FeelUnique for £7 and I’m so impressed with it. How did we deal with sweaty night out face before setting spray existed?!

If any of you guys are cruelty free throw some suggestions my way for skincare/hair dye/shampoo/conditioner/deodorant etc!
